Boreas, the god of the North Wind and winter, is a capricious deity as harsh and cold as the relentless biting winds of the season. He is one of the four Anemoi: the wind gods who represent the four seasons. Boreas is frequently depicted as a winged old man, driving his chariot pulled by horses or gusts of icy air.
Named after the legendary North Wind and the frosty God of winter, our Boreas Candle is the true embodiment of the season.
