Daughter of Demeter, Persephone was kidnapped by Hades, becoming trapped in the Underworld after eating pomegranate. A deal was struck and Persephone was eventually rescued, led back to the land of the living by Hecate's twin torches. However, now married to Hades, Persephone was bound to remain half the year in the Underworld as part of the agreement. And so, the world dies every autumn as Demeter mourns her daughter's departure, but blooms to life in the spring when Persephone returns. Despite the myth of her kidnapping, Persephone and Hades are one of the only examples of faithful monogamy in the Greek Pantheon and Persephone rules the Underworld with Hades as his equal.

What a pleasant surprise this scent was! Fruity fragrance, relaxing while enjoying a book 📚
Part 3 of 4 for the husband sampler pack! I partially picked this because of Lore Olympus, but also because pomegranate as a candle scent was very intriguing to me as I love the fruit. This candle smells sooo good, I wish I had opted for the larger size (and I will definitely be buying the larger size!). If you like fruity scented candles, definitely consider picking this one up.
